sweet nothings -I mentioned Tove Jansson last month but dang I’ve been devouring the first 9 Moomin books again and had forgotten how utterly perfect and charming they are. Perfect reading for this time of year. -Lily also influenced me to make a Merchant and Mills September Jacket since her visit was so rainy and yet she was so dry and cozy in hers. I’m excited to have a personal project to work on and haven’t followed a sewing pattern in YEARS! -I pumped up the tires on my bike this month to toodle down to the grocery store, etc. It’s a game changer and dang it’s so fun to ride a bike. Even if you live in a tiny rural town where you can walk everywhere you can’t drive to, make sure your bike is cookin! -Been sooo inspired by autograph clothing again, I’ve finally started collecting my pal’s signatures on a perfect cotton blouse I got a few months ago! I made a lil pinterest board for you just to give you a taste of how good this genre is. -Benjamin and I have been rewatching Ghosts and it is just as funny and charming as I remember it being. We also rewatched Our Flag Means Death and ditto what I just said. -Finally, extra extra appreciating Ralph’s Cafe doughnuts, catch em on Saturday mornings if I don’t beat ya to it. Having a tiny diner in your home town can’t be beat. See you there tomorrow? xoxo!
